In the location where I do a lot of my bird photography, a couple of wild dogs hunt.  Whilst I was there yesterday, two dogs turned up to see what they could catch.  One found a dead stilt chick but discarded it.

Those are great pictures. Was the camera handheld or tripod/monopod? How far from the target were you?

It's only about a foot deep so you wouldn't need to, thank goodness.
