The Bald Eagles are nesting in a botanical garden and someone mentioned that there were a couple of owls in the "Enchanted Garden" so I took off to try to find them. Along the way there were certainly signs that Spring is on the way. I took these hand held with a pretty heavy wind with the 100-400mm. Of all the things you can say about this lens a lack of versatility is not one of them.

By the look of it, that lens is a winner.

Pretty good close-ups for a long lens........

I have a Sigma 70-300 that has a "Macro" setting.  It always gives me a chuckle when I see that on a telephoto........
