I'm preparing an article with a friendly comparison of the Daytona and the Speedy.
Most of the Speedy photos I plan to use are finally uploaded (I don't work at lightning speed)
Hope they make sense.
One of the Swiss finest and most recognized time pieces
Speedmaster script lets you know something special is there:
Excellent, well machined and sturdy clasp:
21,600 Beats per hour, or 6 ticks per second:
Dependable robust Lemania movement:
Comfortable on the wrist:
Classic good looks:
I guess I also need a good shot of the Seamonster (Hippocampus)caseback.
I'll take any feedback..........I won't like it, but I'll take it....
I plan to shoot the Daytona this weekend....if something else doesn't come up... I'll upload those next week..

I like the 6 ticks per second picture. I guess you used a 1 second exposure.
Good luck with the article. _________________ I'd feel lost without my GPS |

Thank you. I like the 6 BPH shot too. ..for that one I adjusted the lighting until I had a 1.2 second exosure.. kind of a backward approach...but I still need to improve that one a bit...
I thought they would turn out a bit better on the screen, but I do see some unwanted glare here and there on a couple....
I guess I'll break out the light box and try to improve.....
My hands shake a bit more now than they used to for close work....and nobody has been able to correct the double vision in my right eye so it seems I have to learn how to photograph all over again.. _________________ - Larry

If you did those hand-held, then they are very good results. I tend to use my macro lens hand-held outdoors but I don't think I could do as good as those in a studio setting. _________________ I'd feel lost without my GPS |
