Hi guys
With being pregnant, I've been thinking about getting a new digital camera to picture all the "first" moments with!
What I want, is a compact high resolution instant shooting digital camera, and all that for under $300.... Is that too much to ask?
Any suggestions? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi
Your sure to find something! to capture those moments
I like this newest one from nikon..... it got all the spec you'd want/need the ones i think that would be great and really appropiate for those mum shots are noteable the VR[image stabilized lens] for those shaky one handheld shots capturing the moment when you could do with several pairs of hands
I like the periscope lens too nothing sticking out/ zooming in and out for baby to grab or get knocked makes for a nice slimline design, the "large/bright" screen on the back is great too to compose and view your shots I think its the same as the one on the DSLR if it is , its a stunning viewing aid. Of course being one of the latest its got all the usual high spec these days some cool features which you may or may not find fun/useful. you can do little videos too

I recently bought Brenda a Nikon P5100 and she's over the moon with it. Most of the camera makers do excellent compact cameras. I was reading about the Canon Powershot G9 and was very impressed by the specifications. It's estimated to cost $500 but the dealer price may turn out to be less. _________________ I'd feel lost without my GPS |

Could you please be so kind to check out this camera for me and tell me if you would recommend it? Does this one have that fast shot feature?
The reviews are positive, but the language they use, looks foreign to me!
Thank you! _________________ Mireyna

I'm not sure what you mean by the fast shoot feature but it does have a fully automatic setting that should be fairly foolproof. It's got a top class lens and should produce some very good pictures. Another plus is the 10x optical zoom feature. This should cover most eventualities. _________________ I'd feel lost without my GPS |

Thanks Uncle, what I mean with the fast shot, is that now, with my camera it takes several seconds after I push the button for the camera to actually take the picture. With that the "perfect moment" is usually passed, and especially with little kids that's a shame! _________________ Mireyna

Oh yes I remember those days. These new cameras are a lot better and respond immediately, the lag has gone with the faster processors. _________________ I'd feel lost without my GPS |
