I always thought Sir George Daniels was the inventor of the Co-Axial escapement.
Looks like the inventor was Charles Fasholdt, and he ''did it'' back in 1859..

And here the modern version of Sir George Daniels

Looks a lot to me that Mr. Charles Fasholdt invented the Co-Axial escapement and Sir George Daniels improved it.

Any thought????
I am a bit shocked about this ''news''...

I would not lose any sleep over this intereting fact Gerard.  I'm sure Mr. Fasholdt and Daniels won't.

Agree, but I think it would be nice if Omega would mention Mr.Fasoldt's name....after all he did a major part of the work..

Yes some sort of official acknowledgement would have been nice.
