 D300 is this what they mean by "Body Only" have to wait and see what turns up Tuesday

Steve there is a hacked firmware for the D300 which allows features like autofocus to work in modes other than sport mode.

Can you explain that a bit more.  I would have thought autofocus worked all the time unless you deselect it.  

As far as I know there are these settings.

1 point - For static subjects
9 points - For moving objects when you can predict where they are travelling
21 points - For erratically moving objects such as footballers etc.
51 points - For lots of erratically moving objects, like a flock of birds.
