I married a School Teacher, and 2 of our daughters are Teachers..
Every time we go someplace we have to look at the old school houses..
Here's one that I liked, located in Goldfield, just 95 miles north of Las Vegas. Goldfield was a thriving mining town in the 1800's. Today, only a couple of dozen call it home...

With a bit of work you could turn that into an impressive house.
It reminds me of the first senior school I went to. Originally it was an orphanage before being used as an annex to our main school. Unfortunately it was pulled down in the early 60's. A teacher's training college was built on the site. (Just to keep on topic) |
