I spotted this mongoose in a small palm tree. He jumped to the ground as I approached and stayed long enough to get his picture taken.

Have you noticed how the pupils are horizontal as opposed to vertical in a cat.  |

How do you know all these animals??

With the birds I have a field guide, with other things I usually ask if I'm not sure.  |
