Very impressive first post.
The frost certainly adds to the composition and was starting to make me shiver. Your single tree reminds me a lot of an Ansell Adams print I have at home. His is an oak tree in a snow storm with Half Dome in the background.
What equipment do you use?
Anyway, welcome to the forum, we could do with some fresh blood. |

Thanks for the compliment.
I use a Fuji S602Z.
Not the best, but it does the job well.
Thanks for the welcome.. _________________

Gerard,
I saw elswhere that you have not had much experience of Photoshop so I thought I'd add a useful option. When you save an image for showing on-line, you can reduce the file size considerably without spoiling the picture. Go to "Save As" and when the save option comes up with the file name, change the name to whatever you like and press "Save". Another option then appears and you can move a slider to reduce the file size. Most websites prefer files under 200k and by reducing your picture to 70% brings it just under this.

Great scenery..
Around here you need to take a couple of canteens of water if you want to stay out that long...
