I found these matching Zuni inlay items. The belt buckle and bracelet are made by the same person, but came from 2 different internet sources. They are absolutely exceptionally well made and I enjoy wearing them....

Very nice Bob but not my cup of tea I'm afraid. I'm a much more conservative dresser. It's nice to see the ancient crafts being carried on.

Hey Bob:

That stuff is absolutely amazing. Very very unique.
Unfortunately we don't get to see Native American jewelry and apparel here in Australia and those that are available on line are a bit of a risk as far as authenticity is concerned. Most of it is silver and turquoise.

Up until now, I cam honestly say I have never heard of Zuni, so I researched on Wikepedia.
Do you live in AZ?

Cheers

No I don't live in AZ but my brother does, and I go there at least once a year. I do know a few reliable sellers of NA goods both in AZ and on the internet.

It's a tad loud in a way, but I like the look.

Very nice pieces..

That look is very opopular in the rural SouthWest USA.

It also comes into and out of style every decade or so...  In the early 90's everybody was wearing western garb and learning how to line dance and two step...

Once the hip-hop stuff runs it's course, we'll see what the next fad is.. (or has the hollywood set already brought us the pathetic, spoiled. rich kid look ?)
