This is my first owl picture, it's a short-eared owl and I almost drove over it. If it had not moved, I'd never have seen it.

That's amazing!
Doesn't an owl fly away or get scared when people are around??

Don't worry I think you know a lot more about watches than I do.
Actually this owl hides and only shows itself at the last moment. It only allowed me to get so near and then it would fly off for a short distance. |
