I had one before I got the DSLR. It is a very good 4mp bridge camera that has given me some good shots. The battery cover broke but it would still take photos.
I bought a second hand one on ebay to hopefully swop the battery covers over. When it arrived it had the same fault but my son (then 10 years old) started using it.
I then found a job lot of 4 on ebay that were faulty returns and got them for £60.
When I got them, 1 had a tiny scratch on it but worked perfectly.
The 2nd one worked except that you have transfer photos by a card reader,
3rd one worked after a light whack on the side.
4th one didn't recognise the SD card.

So now we have 3 good working ones and plenty of spare parts!

That sounds like my friend Mark.  He uses an Olympus camera for under water work.  His case sprung a leak and ruined his camera so he bought another on eBay.  Then he saw some more for sale he bid for them and won.  Now he has a couple of good cameras, plenty of accessories and spares.

You two and Martin, show the rest of us up, what you achieve with your equipment is top class.  Just goes to show, the guy behind the camera is far more important than the equipment.
