Omega watches are great time pieces......Nobody can truthfully say otherwise..
And look at what they have to offer....
. The Speedmaster, celebrating its 50th year as a premier sportsmans timer..
. The Seamaster, 300 meter depth, good visibility, good looks and good value.
. Their GMT movements, available in the Speedies, Seamasters and the DeVilles....Talk about choice..
And history....first on the Moon, innovative co-axial movement, quality watches... Collectables
All this at half the cost of a Rolex.. A third the cost of Vacheron ????
Is Omega going to fill the gap now, IMHO, left open by Rolex, and others driving and controlling their product and prices so costs skyrocket...
Am I seeing the future....or will only time tell ????
In a few years who will rule the tool/professional watch market ????

In my opinion, they already do rule the tool professional mechanical watch market. Role has become too blingy. _________________ Me? I'm still looking for Kokomo |

| I'm not sure if they will take over from Rolex, after all the Rolex brand has the greater reputation (IMHO) and I'm sure the name alone will carry it through. |

Here's my excursion into Omega.......
Omega isn't entirely 'bling'free' IMHO.
Note, I don't blag Omega against Rolex or Rolex against Omega. :-)
