I'd like one of those bikes like Spacedweller has (no chain). I checked on them in the U.S. and the dealers here don't carry that chainless model.

By the way, out of curiousity what are the fuel prices in your area?

Ours in this area of the U.S. is currently (per gallon)...

$2.69 87% octane
$2.79 89% octane
$2.89 91% octane

I'd better not mention the price we pay in Saudi Arabia, it would upset you too much. 8)

This costs me 5 litres of Diesel per 100km average. Today my local servo is selling Diesel at AU$1.248 per litre.

Many of us Diesel users here cannot understand why we have to succumb to OPEC pricing for fuel when we are self sufficient in this and it cost less to make Diesel fuel than ULP. Futhermore, WHY are we paying MORE for Diesel now than petrol

We have an election coming up soon, yet there's no-one in the ring that has give us answer to this. We are also paying two taxes on fuel as well.

Alternative fuels have to be the answer, but when? and what?

Ethanol; Bio-Diesel; Hydrogen; electric....which will be the winner?

Ha! Our gas prices just jumped another 10 cents a gallon per blend yesterday.

I heard an interesting comment on the news today that the last couple of price increases are the result of the stock market and speculators rather than an actual shortage.
