I have not had much time lately to get out and about but I managed a couple of hours today. Here's the best of the catch.

A redshank flying off. When you spook these, they fly off and call constantly as a result everything else gets spooked.

A couple of turnstones.

A saw this hoopoe late in the afternoon. He was quite tame and allowed me to get close enough for this and a few more shots.

I was lucky with the hoopoe. At the last minute I decided to go to some reed beds just a few hundred yards from where I live. When I spotted it I thought I might be lucky enough to get a distant shot but as I got closer to it, it seemed not to be bothered by me. In fact it almost walked up to my vehicle. I had to move around a bit to get the light behind me but it stayed where it was and I managed to get four or five good close-ups.
