Went on a trip to the border with Paraguay, when returning I passed the wetlands in the Chaco region Argentina.
Spotted a fish eagle but one I've never seen before, white with light brownish spots allover.
A stork which looked a lot like the african Marabu, white feathers with black and a reddish neck.
Several cormorans, terns or at least they looked like terns.
A very big ice bird, several species of parrots.
Oh yeah and on my previous trip couple of weeks ago (Cordoba, Mendoza) I think I saw a condor but unfortunately the bus does not stop when you ask them

Sounds exciting, maybe you carry a small bird guide book.
