We had a decent day of sunshine last week and I went to a local nature reserve, Pennington Flash. Here are a few pictures from the visit.

you cannot knock pennington flash there's allways something to see,
adrian after our visit i read in the local paper they safely rescued the horse from the canal,do you still have the pic.

I found it.....................This horse had somehow managed to get into a canal and due to the shear sides could not get out. John tells me they did manage to rescue it in the end.

Fortunate horse..

We raised horses for a number of years and I have a soft spot for the dumb lunks... :lol:

that's the one,apparentley the horse got spooked by the wind rustling the trees,the fire brigade managed to find a shallow ledge to release it,cheers adrian.
