I spotted this guy in a pool near to my house.  They stay rock still until they think they are in danger, then they are off like a rocket.  I've never seen anything that accelerates like them.

Very nice shot uncle!
You know, I find it quite amazing to see so many beautiful nature shots from you, while you live in Saudi... I always thought they just had sand...
By any chance, could you posts some pics from the environment around you, like buildings, stores, etc? If you're OK with it...

I'll try to post some pictures but they are very funny about cameras here.  If there are any females around, it can be a bit dicey.
