been here a short while now and never introduced myself.

I've known the old bar steward, AJ, for about 5 or 6 years now after we met randomly on a bike tour to Amsterdam. I took him under my wing as he was getting rather frustrated at being left behind. The 2nd time we went out on tour he had slated all the other lads bikes for being old unreliable crap - he returned a day early after his bike broke down!

Is this place where all his adopted family reside?!

I don't really have any interests in watches. My current time piece cost me £25 from Next but it tells the time and looks nice. I'm more into the photography after getting into it last year and I know AJ likes photography too.

Welcome..

The charm of this place is that you don't have to focus on watches...  They're there of course... and the interaction and knowledge base is excellent

But there are other venues that revolve around photography...and that knowledge base is deep and excellent as well..

Have you had another bump on the head?  It was in the Champagne region where my bike had a fault.  It was repaired in 10 minutes when it finally arrived home.  Remember this view because it was what you saw on those bike tours.

You must be worth a few mil by now, or would if you didnt keep buying watches ;) I'm semi retired myself these days but after splashing out a lot of savings on a house renovation I'm back in work to rebuild the funds. Be good to see you when you are over this time, I no longer have a bike - sold it for a camera

My brother in law is highly into Opels but we don't speak much now as he's turned out to be an A1
