Hi guys,

As some of you know, I live in a large complex called "Vista Rosa" comprising 62 units.

Unfortunately, they were built with "untreated" timber in 1999 and a couple of years later our problems started.

Fortunately, we settled out of court last year by way of a Mediation in December and were awarded a fair amount of money for reconstruction work.

Work began in full swing on the 1st of May this year and about 30% of the buildings are ready. My turn to move out for about 3 months comes in early Jan. 08.

Here ya go, guys.....

The new ones, all done up!!

Here's a picture of my unit 60 - you can see how shabby it looks!! :(

And these with work in full swing!!

Wish me luck, guys - JJ

That's funny.....you're having beer while I'm having breakfast!! It's just past 6 am here, Thursday morning.

BTW, I do hope you guys fare well in the World Cup Rugby finals against the Springboks!!

So do I JJ but if we lose it's not the end of the world. No one gave us a chance at the beginning yet we reached the final. After watching the football against Russia, we could do with a good result.

Sorry to hear of your housing problems but the settlement sounds positive. I hope the work progresses quickly and you're back home soon.
