I'm with you!!  My kids have already talked me into getting out the blow-up Christmas decorations meant for the yard....which are now sitting squarely in our atrium.  A penguin that pops out of an igloo, and Snoopy on top of his doghouse draped with Christmas lights, now adorn our household.  But I don't care...I love this time of year.

Can't wait for Sirius/XM to start with the holiday music!

How exciting! How old are the kids??

Yesterday I ordered a Christmas CD I've wanted since last year. I can't wait for it it get here!!!

My daughter is 6 and my son is 3-1/2.  My son listens to music every night while going to sleep, and the Christmas music was his choice up till August.  Both kids absolutely love the holidays, and repeatedly watch the DVD's of Frosty & Rudolph, etc.  We spend time riding around and looking at the decorations, also.  Even though Hawaii has a better chance of snow, the Mexicans decorate to the hilt and enjoy the heck out of this time of the year.

Just today I had one of my guys reserve the caterer for my department Christmas party, which will be at my house this year.  There'll be at least 60 folks, so it'll be a heck of a bash.  I'll snap a few photos in the coming weeks and add to this thread.

Faith, sounds very familiar, I always enjoy getting cash during the extended holiday season. I would get a check from my parents and grandparents so I could buy what I wanted. My wife is christian and likes presents and I prefer cash. So I must admit it is fun to buy lots of gifts for my wife so she has plenty to open up on X-mas morning.....

Faith.....you never cease to crack me up. The only thing that made this funnier than the post itself, is reading the post after YOU started the Secret Santa/Pollyanna/Kris Kringle thread. I'm gonna be PRAYING to get YOUR number!

The girl is Caroline and the boy is Michael.  I'll dig for a semi-recent picture...hold on....OK, I just resized a few.  Maybe I'll put them into the family portrait section also.

Here's one of me with the kids:

Here's one of all of us:

And one of me and Lori:
