For you American types...that's $8.24 a gallon.

I think I might buy a lear jet (do they do them on Eeeeb?) I'd bet the fuel would be cheaper.

That is all!

Whoa!  That is true highway robbery.  In my hood, regular gas is $2.69, premium is $2.99 and everyone's complaining.

(BTW, don't buy a lear jet, borrow Warren Beatty's.)

I think gas prices are heading down ....At Costco
in Tempe I paid 2.47 for reg. gas
Is diesel higher than gasoline over there?
Last year when diesel was 5 bucks a gallon (in Texas) that stopped me from ever wanting any diesel anything.
Gas stinks bad enough these days....I remember as a kid with 97/98 octane leaded gas.....man that smelled great with golden spectro premix in my motocross bikes.

Diesel and regular unleaded are the same price here (£1.08 a litre).

I've just upped my geek status and am now tracking fuel economy on www.fuelly.com

My Xterra isn't exactly frugal but it's still 42% better than my big red GMC was.
