The dial has no luminous markers like others in the range, you may notice, low level lighting is alternatively provided by the radio active glow still given out by the meteorite rock fragment having a life span it is estimated greater than that of tritium or the later luminor used in todays modern dials

| Interesting, only watches I know with unique dials are the wooden ones. |

nature doesn't conform! , i would guess the black mother of pearl dials would be just as unique, have seen anything from green to almost black in appearance beautiful dial too IMO kinda disconcerting i guess though if you had to order one unseen, as i did mine but hadn't really gave it any thought at the time, pleased though with the formations on my dial

My wife has a BMOP dial and it's fascinating to look at. It's constantly changing colors, mostly rose, green and bronze. 
I tried for years to get her interested in a Rolex and she always said they were too masculine. However, a few months ago she saw the BMOP dial and changed her mind. She now has a RG TT LDJ with a BMOP dial and Jubilee band. :grin:

The same thing happened with mine. It was coming up to our Pearl Wedding and I was at a loss as to what to buy her. (She already has a string of pearls). I pointed out a TT DJ with MOP dial and she took a liking to it. So the deed was done and she was over the moon. Her's has the oyster bracelet though.
