Universal GeneveHere's my father's Universal Geneve which I inherited in 1986 and it's been in a safety deposit box until this year.
I still have the original ss bracelet. My son put the leather band on it when he wore it while his watch was being repaired. It's approx 43 mm and the moveable bezel is inside the crystal.
Is this watch still being made? I've tried looking on the internet for their site with no results. Also, any idea what Polerouter Sub means (the "u" in sub is a pitchfork) ?

What a great looking watch with a tremendous sentimental value too!

It's got two crowns John. Is the second on a bezel winder?
Just curious.

Yes, the crown to the left in the photo turns the bezel, since it's inside the crystal. A best guess on this watch from their web site would place it's date from approx 1961-1968. My father had several Rolexes over the years and eventually disposed of all of them. This was his favorite watch and the only one he kept.
I just dropped it off at my AD this week to have it serviced. It's been in a safe deposit box for the past 21 years and still worked when I took it out. He's also going to re-lum the hands at no additional cost but didn't recommend doing the dial.
