Today's ultrasound...

Hey boyz...

I'm having a girl!

With two tumbs up

Flatlander

Congratulations.

We had a girl and then two boys.  Girls are much easier to raise and don't cause near the trouble.  Of course I could be biased since she's a "Daddy's girl".

Come to think of it, there were a few problems once she started dating!
uncle aj

Terrific news Mireyna, I bet your both pleased.  Now have you started thinking about names?

One disappointment is you won't be able to name her after me.........."Uncle AJ" is not a good name for a girl.

I love the picture with the thumbs up.

Yes we're very happy! It came as a surprise though, since everybody thought it was going to be a boy... Because of the shape of my belly, and all that crap. But either way we're very delighted!

The name is a problem... we have no clue!    We did have a boy's name, but we can't agree on a girl! Good thing we have 4 more months to make up our mind!
BruceS

Congratulations!  Very cool.

Gotta love the two thumbs up!

Beautiful!

Good for you..

Girls are a joy to raise............well, until they turn 13....

But then they settle back down by the time they're about 30....

I know, I hear you! I just hope it doesn't look like me too much when I started puberty!
But I guess it's payback time!

I'm super excited really! And so is my husband! He's already planning on buying another gun (which he'll start cleaning in the garage with the door open, so all the neighborhood kids can see he has guns!
Guys are so cute when it comes to their little girls!
Ash

Mireyna, what was your boy name?

How did I miss this announcement??         Mireyna, that is SO exciting!! Little girls are the best (but little boys are pretty awesome, too). I have one of each!

That is wonderful news! BTW, it is so much fun to buy baby girl clothes. If I were you, I'd start shopping now.

ABS

Thanks Carolina!
I already have a laundry basket full with baby clothes! (which were all given to me) They are soooo adorable! I just LOVE baby clothes! I'm trying really hard not to buy too much yet, because people told me I'll get a ton of clothes on the baby shower (although I'm not sure I'll have one).

They say you can't have too many clothes for little ones because within 5 minutes it's spilled on or soiled...

But, truly, you can have too many.........They grow so fast the first year, sometimes you can't get the frilly little dresses out of the package before it's out grown..

This is where creative re-gifting comes in handy....

I know Ashley, I was just joking with you.  Put it down to my wicked sense of humour.

Sorry.

Sorry, I totally missed this part of the conversation earlier!
My boy's name was Leandro. And no, I don't like Leandra for a girl...

Hmmm,

Leandro Secret...

Just not much of a ring to that.............

ABS

My husband is hispanic, so imagen it with a Spanish last name...
Flatlander

My youngest son's name was going to be Susan.

After having 3 girls we just assumed the next would also be another and hadn't picked out a boys name.  What a surprise!  He's sure glad we decided to choose another name.

I used to work with a guy named Kim (and he was American, too). I recall hearing the name now and again, and imagine my surprise when I met  HIM and saw he was 6'2", broad shouldered, and very nice looking!      [/u]

I had a doctor once who's called Dana... I really thought it was a lady untill I got to the office!
Oh, and I had a friend named Wendy a long time ago, and an ex-boyfriend who's named Misha ...

I know you were! Sometimes I'm terrible at getting the way I say things across the internet! There are never enough emoticons

I don't think I've ever heard of Leandra, and I know I haven't heard Leandro before! I bet your girl name is unique and beautiful too! I can't wait
ABS

I heard the name Leandro from a Basketball player in the NBA...
I really liked the way it sounds in all the languages we're planning to raise the child in.
It's hard to find a name that sounds good in multiply languages, trust me!
But right now, I think we've narrowed it down to about 4 girl's names, with one top favorite, but my husband isn't ready to commit yet! We'll figure it out, I still have about 3 months to go, so I'm not too worried about it!
