Timex 21 Jewel

Picked this up on ebay. It is only a Timex but it was made in my birth year (1963) and is keeping better time than my Rolex!

Very classic look for the 60's...........

Very similar looks to my 1962 Seamaster.

uncle aj

I remember when they tied those Timex watches to horses legs and boat propellers and after all that, they still kept ticking.
Tools

I think they used to lick them too..

That's where they got the slogan..."Takes a licken' and keeps on ticken"..

or I could be wrong..

I was born in 1963, too.  Did anyone else notice you've got all the numerals for your birth year on the dial?  1, 9, 6 and 3.  Cool!

Hi Lisa, cool that we have the same birth year.  My wife says "none of the men will notice the numerals."

None of the women would notice, either - except the strange ones!
