The Desert Isn't Just Sand Dunes..........After you walk across the dry lake beds and wade through the dunes, you eventually get to the edges......
The mountain ranges in the Desert are foreboding and impassable in some places..
But they can be as beautiful as any forested glen.
Up close, the rocks are bigger than the biggest buildings..
There just isn't much water......or any place to get some without a lot of work.......
