Taking the high road.I try, but don't always succeed.
Today Sydney came in and asked me if she could go find a missing dog. We see these posters and little notes in the mailbox all the time and I never gave them a never-mind. Sydney handed me the note from the mailbox and I saw it was from a neighbour that I detest. Long stroy short, the guy was driving down our street and veered toward Sydney, of all people, just to be mean. My reaction was one that almost landed me in jail.
I almost said no, but the look in Sydney's eyes soften my heart and I said yes. Well, after an hour Sydney, Hope and a friend came running in the basement with a $100 reward. They found the damn dog. Seems it ran away from the wife with leash still attached and was stuck in a hole since Thursday.
And to think, I almost said no. The dog would not have made in another night or two. Karma. Watch out and try to take the high road when possible.

Man I should have took the high road today.
Having a rotten evening and it probably won't be getting any better in the near future.
Give my love to H and S and tell them well done!

Good story. The dog's owner sounds like a real piece of work. Glad she saved the dog. Hope the owner appreciates what Sydney did and changes his attitude.
I don't like people who are mean to kids or animals.

Good work, Sydney!
If some idiot purposefully veered towards my child with a vehicle, I would probably be posting this from jail.

Joe, your daughters are gems for finding the missing dog for the neighbor who is an idiot. Karma will give him his someday and you are a better man for not acting on your impulses. You are setting a good example for your children who it seems have taught you a lesson as well!!!

Is this a shaggy dog story?
Let's hope things will improve with the neighbour from now on and it was a nice story.
