Some birds from a sandy, windy weekendWe have had some horrendous sand storms of late but on Friday it subsided a little and it made it worth going out. Here's a few of the pictures I got.

I keep thinking that I need a bird lens....but first I need birds..........

Great series and what a variety. Looks like you made up for some lost time. The first and last ones are my favourites as well.

I've noticed most birds congregate around water so being in the desert might be a bit of a challenge.

We sometimes take a 5 gallon container of water and some plastic sheeting. Make a small shallow pool and wait. It's surprising how the birds find it.
