Rolex clocks...We all recognize the Rolex clock with the gold fluted bezel that hangs in the AD's and various other locations. However, I was wondering what other kind of Rolex clocks are out there.
Here's an outside clock at one of my local AD's. No one is for sure how long it's been there but a best guess is over 30 years. The city is widening the street at the present time and informed the AD they regarded this clock as an icon of the neighborhood. They voluntarily offered to pay the cost of relocating it on his property rather than have him do away with it.
Note the embellishments and gold tones on it.

They have a digital one at Wimbledon and there's usually one at the Open Golf Tournament. None of these are a patch on the one pictured, I wonder how much that would fetch on eBay?

My (former) AD has a clock like that in front of the store. Since they lost their AD status (don't ask, they don't know either) they are seeking to change it with a Cratier face. Maybe I'll ask them to sell it to me.

You stand a good chance of getting it if he's lost his AD.
