Rolex and Omega>>>>

A few years ago I completely fell in love with a watch I found in a old pawnshop in Villach Austria.

This was the watch..

I had it fixed and bought me another one from ''The Bay'' and had that fixed too..

A WIS was born..
After this it only got worse..

Sold both the Omega's to raise funds for a mid size quartz Bond Seamaster, no pictures of that one I am afraid..
Had to sell that one though because I needed the money for the babyroom...

When my daughter was born I thought it would be nice to mark this important event with a nice watch..
Bought myself a nice pre-loved Speedmaster.

Before I knew it I had a trio of Speedmasters...

I sold the two on the left to raise funds for another brand...

Yes, the Rolex brand...:

When we found out my wife was pregnant for the second time I was so happy that i bought me (my son) a nice pre-loved Submariner.
Two kids, two great classic timepieces..

Well, what I am trying to say with this thread that although I thought I changed from a omega guy into a Rolex guy, I really love both brands for their history, designs and fantastic movements..

This is my current line-up, Omega and Rolex, maybe some space left for a nice Venus powered Breitling??

If you have some watches in your collection besides the Coronet brand please post some pictures of them..

Nice collection Gerard.

Here's some of mine, not as splendid as Gerard's but I like them.

Cartier Santos Auto circa 1976.  I still use it for a dress watch.

My circa 1974 Speedy.  Had it from new and it still runs well.  It's on my winder at the moment.

A very old Felca I bought in the early seventies.  It's a silver case and hand-wind movement, it's in a drawer at home.

A Mido Commander.  This is a limited edition watch I bought in Saudi.  Again it's in a drawer at home.

My Glycine combat auto.  I lost this one, I think I left it in the garden and someone walked off with it.  I still miss it.

Panerai Pam 93.  I sold this after wearing it for a year.  I became dissolutioned with the brand.

My present watch that I wear every day but not at work.

My old TT sub that went a few months back.  I wasn't wearing it so decided to sell it and gave the funds to Brenda.

Thanks Gerard, it's the reason the TT sub went.  It just wasn't getting any wrist time.
