That's now just over £5 a gallon. For you American types...that's $8.24 a gallon. I think I might buy a lear jet (do they do them on Eeeeb?) I'd bet the fuel would be cheaper. That is all! Jimbits76 I have the flu actually. The tax we pay on fuel is a joke 2/3 the final price approx. As for old Martina and using the train, that is ridiculously overpriced....the sooner the cost of public transport falls the better it will become. I'd happily say goodbye to one of our cars! Last year when diesel was 5 bucks a gallon (in Texas) that stopped me from ever wanting any diesel anything. Gas stinks bad enough these days....I remember as a kid with 97/98 octane leaded gas.....man that smelled great with golden spectro premix in my motocross bikes. For 1 US gallon, it's 25 cents or 6.6 cents per litre. For 1 UK gallon, it's 18p or 4p per litre.
