Ouch...

Well, I managed to pull a back muscle (or slip a disc, or whatever), so here I sit in my recliner, unable to do simple movements like scratch myown arse........

Of course you would know, I have the Tux cleaned for an important charity function this weekend, and it's only a couple of weeks before departing for the high seas and a Caribbean vacation.. damn the luck..

Of course, I think I can milk this until at least the heavy packing is done...or possibly until the bags are loaded aboard ship...

Well, I'll have to ponder...right now I need to yell for another cup of coffee and see if it materializes....

(Next time I'm getting a smaller house and a more spry bride)

I'm sure it will only be muscle pain Larry. Just take it easy and insist on being waited on hand and foot. I must admit when I'm crocked it never works. Anyway get well soon, if not can I have your criuse tickets. (sorry)

I feel for you, buddy. Last year, I lived in a chair for nearly nine months with a back injury. It makes for a genuinely miserable experience. I'm lucky though, my wife is the best, she waited on me hand and foot.

Sorry for your misfortune Larry and I hope it's only a minor injury. :(

You might try using a bell to summon your wife. Make sure it's a small one though, in case the wife decides to...never mind, on second thought that's a bad idea.

Hey Larry:

Sounds like a pulled muscle rather than a slipped disc. When the disc goes, the pain is indescribable and you simply cannot move because all the surrounding muscles go into a tight spasm. I used to play regular golf, but had to give it away because of my back. The first time it happened, I thought someone had stabbed me with a bayonet!

Ask around to find a reputable Physiotherapist that does manipulation. It's worth it. Meantime take some anti-inflammatory pills which may reduce the pain.

Good luck

Steve
