Old vs. NewI'm only talking about script here.
This is my 40 year old Seamaster, looking through the original crystal;
And here is the script of my 2 year old...
Flashy colors aside, I'm impressed with the consistency.. And, I'm in a lot closer on the old one..

I'd need a magnifying glass to able to read it so I'm not that fussy about either. However the new script is very near to the old one as you say.
