Cuckoo (brown morph)

Usually cuckoos are greyish in colour but they also come in a brown morph.  This one of those, sometimes called a rufous cuckoo.

i've been looking through p base etc trying to see what settings the guys are using to give me some sort of grounding when i go out, passes an hour or two when you've nothing better on just for fun how close am i in guessing F5.6 /640 as your setting in this shot  nice shot/ colours

It was 1/2500 at f7.1.  Still you weren't far out.

I always use aperture priority and set it for a high shutter speed.  With a long lens you are very susceptible to camera shake, even on a tripod.  I was using the camera hand-held.
