One of my butterfly picsI was very lucky to get this picture as these butterflies hardly ever stop. Fortunately for me this one stayed on the flowers long enough for me to get several shots.

I used a Nikon 105 micro lens on a D200 body. I'd estimate I was about 9 inches away from the subject. They seem to be OK if you can keep your shadow off them.
