Very good Rahil but when you post a picture, could you tell us a bit about it and what you would like to know, if anything.
One criticism regarding the leopard would be I think you have over sharpened it. You can usually tell this by the halo effect around the body of the leopard. e.g. It looks a bit like it's a cut and paste job. but I'm being over critical.

It doesn't look too bad at the size in your post. Do you know at what focal length the shot was taken? e.g. what point between 50 and 500mm and was it hand held or on a tripod?

That's the best way to get steady shots. I'd be using hand-held and would probably get camera shake. Maybe I can learn from you.

Is that from fear or beer AJ?

One good spot I've used a few times, especially for birds in flight, is by the Fishing Port at the bottom of the Corniche Road. There's a piece of land that juts out into the sea and at the end is a sewage outflow. This attracts lots of gulls and cormorants and the occasional fisherman. I find it very uncomfortable taking pictures around Khobar as some people don't like to see you with cameras. If I can, I go over to Bahrain where they are much more sympathetic.

yes very true, most the people object when they see camera in hand. God knows when this will change.
BTW thanks for your tips.
Looking forward to see you personally some time after your vacation
