Captions neededHere's a couple of pictures from yesterday that I think need good captions. Mine for the first one is "I've been itching to do that."
I haven't got one for this.

Are those two in the second picture Indian Miner birds? If not what are they?
Indian Miner are regarded as a pest here in Australia. A threat to some our indigenous species.
Unfortunately our indigenous miner birds are similar to the Indian, but have grey plumage with yellow eye shadow. The Indian is brown.
BTW how about posting bird photo's with the names on the species? Save me asking every time LOL
Great photography!

Those two are common mynahs, the brown ones are possibly bank mynahs. They are a pest here as well, killing young birds and stealing eggs. Personally I don't like them.

The one on the left looks like he had a pretty rough night.. must be a grown up version of the feeding photo posted by flatlander.
maybe he's thinking
"Mom always did like you best !!"

Yes the one on the left is a juvenile alright. There's one flying around that doesn't have any feathers on it's head. It looks really strange with a bright yellow head.
I've never managed to get a picture of it, maybe some day.
