Item 110174704708
It's already over $8k.
Any experts here have an opinion as to authenticity?

I would think it would be difficult to authenticate the watch from a picture. The seller says it has a refinished dial and replacement case. When I hear things like that it tends to make me think of frankenwatches.
Here's a link to the watch for anyone with more indepth knowledge than me.

If Mike comes along, maybe he can help you out with it. If the seller is in the vintage community, he might even be familiar with them.

Way bad! :x
The dial is very suspect--"L" is way to far over. Replacement case kills the value (if it's even genuine) The insert is not a replacement--it's aftermarket.

A refinished dial and a replacement case....
Isn't that like saying "I refinished the dial and made it a double-red"....And I put it in a Sea Dweller case, so now it's a SD...
Why not just "refinish" the dial and put Comex on it....Then it would be worth lots more....
