Rolex Companion ?

Just like watches won't go out of style anytime soon, so a good pen is essential in todays world.

Does a fine writing instrument accompany your Rolex ?

My Explorer II is with my daily Mont Blanc, which is with a couple of Colibri's and a pair of 70 year old Sheaffers.

My wrist is the only thing that accompanies my Rolex. I do have a Mont Blanc Meisterstruck fountain pen that hardly ever gets used and a ball point that keeps breaking where the plastic meets the gold band at the ball point end.

I've always wanted to get a nice pen like a Mont Blanc. But, I really wouldn't get to use it often. I have two Waterman's and both were pretty inexpensive when compared to a Mont Blanc. One was a gift from the Uncle I was named after when I made Detective and the other just a pen I picked up at Staples one day. One of these days I'd like to get a nice fountain pen though.

I use a vintage Mont Blanc 146 fountain pen and carry it with me at all times.

It's one of my 3 constant comanions:

1. Rolex 14060M or 16710 ( Depending on what I'm doing)
2. MB 146 FP
3. Swiss knife that I have had since I was 15
