More bee-eatersWhile Brenda prepered the tea, I decided to go out for about 45 mins and check out the reed beds. I'm glad I did as these European bee-eaters were over there.
The first one is just about to cough up a chunk of insect parts that it could not digest. Just the thing before tea.

I don't do anything Steve, it's all down to the lens design etc. The lens I use is renown for it so I can't take any credit in that regards. I think these were at f6.3 which would have helped. Remember, depth of field is very narrow with long lenses.
