Last To Wear The Crown.....................................

Just arrived! Thrilled to premier these pics here and thanks for the warm welcome.
1997 "small block" Tudor Oysterdate 79280. The last series sporting the Rolex crown and caseback and Oysterdate [vs Prince Date] dial with later serial numbers starting the Tudor transition. I sold my Tag Heuer Steve McQueen Monaco to fund this and although I loved it this baby will get much more wrist time.
Incredible condition, tight bracelet, and came with box, papers, etc.

Fantastic Dan, really nice.

Thanks for the kind words, everybody.  This might be on my wrist for a while. Been hankerin' for a silver dialed Tudor chrono.

Ok. That's it! You've got enough watches! No more. Stop now(before it's too late), even though that is a GORGEOUS watch.

The Watch Cop

Ok. Ok. I'm jealous.

Thanks, Nathan.  I agree, must have a date. The Daytona is a great watch but the Tudor chrono pushes all the right buttons [pun intended].

Tudor doesn't have any issues with dates on their chronos.......  I wonder if they collaborate with their Rolex counterparts or they run each part independently....

Congrats Dan, a beauty...!!!

Beautiful watch!

From one junior member to another that is one fabulous looking watch, especially that wristshot.

Compare it to the 6263 and the Tudor walks all over it.

Thanks again, everyone.  Gotta wear it at least one day this weekend.
