In depth guide to posting picturesNote.
I have just added the capability of uploading images to the forum gallery. When you post a message, there is now the words "Attach File" at the bottom of the pane. Click on this and a pop-up window appears for you browse your computer for the picture file you wish to add to message.
Otherwise................
Go to your image hosting site ie Photobucket and choose your image. Click on the "IMG Code" pane and it will become highlighted as shown below. A yellow flag should appear telling you that the code has been copied into your computers temporary memory.
Go to the forum and in the post frame, position the cursor on the line where you want the image inserting. Right click with the mouse and a menu should appear. Left click on the "Paste" option as below.
The code will be copied to your post as per the image below.
Press the "Submit" button and your post will be posted with the picture inserted.
If you have a picture on another forum or website that allows hosting you can copy the URL/Address from that forum into the post as below.
First go to the picture you want and ensure it is displayed full size. Right click on the picture with the mouse and a menu will appear. Left click on the "Properties" option.
Note some browsers have another option "Copy image location" if yours does, click on this.
If you clicked on "Properties" a small pane appears. At the URL/Address location, highlight this by left clicking and holding before the first letter of the address, drag across to the last letter until all letters are highlighted as so.
Once again right click on the highlighted area and choose "Copy" from the options.
Now go to the forum and the message pane, right click on the line where you want the image inserting and choose "Paste"
The URL/Address will be copied into the message pane.
To enable the picture to show on the forum you need to type the code after as below.
Now press the "Submit" button again and the picture will show in your post.
