IMO This Day Date Cuts Quite A Young Sporting DashWould you agree ?, in comparison to other DD combinations available IMHO by selective choice of metal and dial can completly change the DD 's stereotyped image, finetuning the model to one's self image

That is a beautiful DD watch and I agree that the choice of metal and dial can reflect one's self-image. However, I think this is true in any of the models.
For some reason, IMO, a solid gold Rolex seems to be viewed by the younger generation as an older person's watch and I would humbily submit it merely reflects a person's financial ability to afford one.
Come to think of it, I'm one of those older persons (although I don't have a solid gold Rolex) so that may be why I'm a bit biased on the subject. :lol:
