How lucky!!!!!!!!!Well it is 8PM and at this moment I should be watching Sir Elton John in concert at Sheffield 60miles south of here.We got to the car park in Sheffield at about quarter past 5, at 20 past 5 my wife in floods of tears realized that she had left the tickets in the house (Long story about changing bags, coats etc) I wasnt to worried about that but to see my wife in tears really hurts me, no amount of "It doesnt matter luv" seemed to help, so off we went on our journey up North, stopped off and got a nice cup of coffee (Yeh I know, coffee) and one of those nice buns in Costa Coffee (Should have been called Costa Lot) anyway at 6.38 PM on the M1 Chris Evans on BBC Radio 2 announced " To all those travelling to Sheffield for the Elton John concert it has been cancelled, Sir Elton has flu". Im very sorry Elton but you dont know how happy your flu made me and Carole. How lucky was that.
An announcement will be made on Monday I presume to give alternative dates etc. __________________ |

Thank you all for your very kind words, after the announcement on the radio the transformation was spectacular, Carole was so down before it, we laughed all the way home.
