Hi all!Having a FANTASTIC vacation! We've been to Jakarta (first 3 days), Jambi (Sumatra) and are now in Jogja for the week. After that by train to Malang. So 5 flights already.
Temp. is 33 C and humid. I'm so glad Anne speaks the language for 90%, she speaks Javanese but had to learn Indonesian. In the big cities, Bahassa Indonesia is the norm. I'll check-in again later, have lots of pictures.

The Internet Cafe is about 50 meters from our hotel  What better way to relax after a long day than to to bore me friends a bit, you ingrate

Alcohol in public places is a no-no here. You must find a bar in a hotel to get that, or if you are lucky buy a couple of cans of beer in a super-market. There used to be an Australian bar in Jogja, called The Dragon Fly, but that's gone. Kaput.

Because I wasn't in Jakarta the 17th and could never make it. From here on we will go to Malang and then home. Maybe next year because we have plans to go again
