Free Rolex Polishing Cloths!missing yours or didn't get one1?, rang Bexley our London RSC enquiring if it was ok to use a red rouge polishing cloth on my watch? and was this what they used as the final buff,
" No Sir please don't use anything I'll send you what we use!" anyway small packet arrives in the post enclosed was a couple of the soft clothes and a wad of what initially seemed like toilet tissues , actually quite good!!, not actual polishing cloths though! just smudge wipes. I used the" shino red rouge polishing cloth" anyway not harsh and gave a real brilliance/lustre which i couldn't achieve with "Cape Cod" give it a try if your so inclined:thumbup:

I previously used the pads from watchbandrenew Steve and they are suitable for a satin finish surface like the Oyster SS bracelets.
Polishing Oyster bracelets and clasps in satin finish and require a step by step task dependng on how badly the links are scored. The kit starts with a coarse pad and you work up to a finer pad through the numbers.
The mirror finish on the sides of the watch case is a bigger job and requires at least an hours work on each side.
A jeweller's buffing wheel with the correct cloth will do the case sides job in a minute or two.
I know someone who polished out the satin case edges of an Omega PO using this kit. It took him a few days, but the end result was worth it.
