Death Valley In The Rain.......Death Valley is in the Mojave Desert of the Southwestern USA. It can be a foreboding place, but when it gets some rain, the colors come out of the rocks.
Unfortunately, you don't get clear pictures in the rain............. but I'll get back over there when it dries out.
And there is always refuge at Scotty's Castle if it gets too wet and cold:

Beautiful colours and great shots. I spent a few weeks desert training at 29 Palms in the Mojave and it was a beautiful area. Got to watch out for all the creepy crawlies though.
