Couple more shots of Swindon

This was taken at Moulden Hill which is one of the many new built wildlife areas in and around the town. One thing Swindon is, is green. Its a very nice place even with all the houses theres lots of countryside and greenery.

The above panorama was about 6 or 8 shots taken in portrait mode and stitched together using autostitch (free excellent tool). The view is looking down into Swindon from just below the entrance to RAF Wroughton.

This is a shot of the manor house at Lydiard park.

And for now, finally, this is a shot of my road

Was the last shot taken as the aliens landed to abduct you.  I can't think why they didn't keep you.

Nice stuff Mike, did you try the rule of thirds with the landscape?
valentino

I use the rule of "what I like to look at".. rules are great, they can be useful but people get hung up on them. Some people say you cant split the shot with a 50/50 sky/ground. I say to those people that you can :)

Great scenery......

All I asked was "Did you try the rule of thirds?"  Pardon me for asking.
