Cooper's Hawk

A Cooper's hawk has taken up residence in our neighborhood and frequently finds his meals in my yard.

There are a few licensed keepers of Cooper's hawks in my area.  Beautiful bird.

Adrian, are they considered rare, still, or have they made a comeback?  I've read conflicting stories on the web.  Here's another shot...

I've just checked and they are classified as "Least Concern" meaning they are holding their own.
